1991 Volkswagen Corrado G60

The little charger that couldn't.

Mine was silver, without the sunroof that eventually leaks into every Corrado story. It came on coilovers, with a push-button start and a phantom electrical draw. The G-Lader made the 1.8 feel special right up until its seals reminded you how much special costs. Strangers still mistook it for a DeLorean.
